GLADSTONE PARK CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

Gladstone Park

Named after British Prime Minister William Gladstone (1809-1898), Gladstone Park and its surrounding namesake neighborhood is primarily residential with commercial development along Milwaukee. Its brick housing stock continues to lure new residents. A Metra station is located along Northwest Highway, which parallels the Union Pacific railroad tracks. These tracks also spurred the development of light industry in the area. Numerous machine shops and small factories were constructed along Northwest Highway in the mid-20th Century, and some of these facilities are still in operation today.

The Gladstone Park Chamber of Commerce is a major force in our community’s economic prosperity. The Chamber provides the leadership to achieve a diverse balanced economy that enhances the quality of living and working in the Gladstone Park area.

The GPCC strives to keep programs current and responsive to the demands of the business climate. In our continuously evolving marketplace, the Chamber is a bridge that links businesses, organizations and residents together with innovative programs that strengthen Gladstone’s long-term economic vitality, business success, job creation and quality of life. We provide several ways for our members to enhance their credibility, gain recognition, have a voice in issues affecting business, improve their bottom lines, get involved through networking events and volunteering, and so much more. If you are not a member, you should be. Contact the chamber office 773/756-6206.
